When it comes to the most important TV shows of the modern era, Breaking Bad has to be up there with the best of them.

Created by Vince Gilligan, Breaking Bad premiered in 2008 and lasted five seasons, with 62 episodes that ended epically in 2013. On the aggregate website Rotten Tomatoes, it scored 96% from critics and 97% from the audience indicating how popular this TV series is across the board.

Check out the Breaking Bad trailer below!

Without giving too much away, Breaking Bad follows the life of Walter White, a high school science teacher who receives bad news and embarks on a money-making scheme that would provide his family with financial security long after he has left this world.

I would say that Breaking Bad fans have been eager for it to return on our screens but that’s probably not the case. In my humble opinion, this is one of the few popular TV shows that concludes almost perfectly, which seems to be a rarity nowadays.

That being said, if you’ve never watched its prequel series, Better Call Saul as well as the sequel movie El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie, you might want to add them to your list. However, make sure to watch the Breaking Bad TV series first, if you haven't already.

Still, if Walter White were to return to our screens in any capacity played by the brilliant Bryan Cranston, you wouldn't hear me complaining. So, with that in mind, Mr Cranston has returned as Mr White, it’s just probably not how you’d expect.

As spotted by Dexerto, Bryan Cranston has returned as the menacing Walter White in an anti-littering commercial for New Mexico, the home state of the character from Albuquerque.

“Oh god, it’s the fly episode all over again,” said Twitter user IntroSpecktive.

“The GOAT is back,” tweeted nithudevadarshh.

“I love it!” replied KFP_Fanboy.

The commercial features a rightly-so disgruntled Walter White picking up rubbish in the desert and warns litterers “Keep litter out of my territory,” before playing into the Breaking Bad theme tune.

To be fair, we should all heed the warning of Walter White wherever we live in the world. We shouldn't throw litter on the floor and if there’s not a bin nearby, take it home and throw it in your bin.

If you want to watch Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul and El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie, all are available to stream now on Netflix.
