Andor may have finally come to an end but with the show being such a huge success, it is no wonder that fans are eager for more.

Set in the Star Wars universe before the events of the 1977’s Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope, Andor took the world by storm when it first aired on Disney+ back in 2022.

Starring Diego Luna as titular character Cassian Andor, it followed the thief-turned-rebel-spy during the formative years that lead up to the events of the first two Star Wars movies.

Running for just two seasons, Andor finally wrapped up in May of this year and has cemented itself as one of the best Star Wars spin-offs of all time.

Praised for its writing, performances, characterisation, cinematography and much darker themes, Andor also starred an incredible cast and it is two characters in particular that stood out more than most.

That is Kleya Marki played by Elizabeth Dulau and Vel Sartha played by Faye Marsay.

Although the two have quite different roles throughout the television show, they still come into contact on more than one occasion and it seems as though fans wish for this to continue.

Starring on an episode of The Ringer-Verse on YouTube, Andor creator Tony Gilroy has expressed that he is interested in the idea of Vel and Kleya coming together once more in a spin-off series.

In it, they would play a pair of “Nazi hunters” and would hunt down former Imperials following the fall of the Empire alongside help from Dedra Meero in a “Hannibal-esque” role.

It may sound like a bizarre idea but it is a TV show that many of us would watch.

“That’s a hip idea… I’m sure Kathy [Kennedy] will hear about that one. That’s a good one,” Gilroy claimed.

Of course, such a spin-off show is merely a passing comment right now but who knows? It would definitely pull in the viewers.

“This would be awesome,” one user said over on Twitter.

Another agreed, adding, “That's.... that's got real potential, actually. And for times when it's a real heavy hitter and they need a tank, well, there happens to be a certain bounty hunter who'd love to take credits for apprehending escaped Imperials.”

Additionally, Gilroy’s comments also confirm that both Kleya and Vel surviving the original trilogy would be canon and with Andor having such a high death count, this is reassuring indeed.
