We must have it

Few series are as beautiful as The Witcher. While there are many dangerous and eerie foes, there’s always such beauty to be found in even the grimmest of places.

Undoubtedly, this is one of the reasons so many love the CD Projekt RED franchise.

This latest Witcher release, however, is genuinely breathtaking.

Although this upcoming instalment isn’t a new game, you won’t be disappointed in hearing that when you feast your eyes on its artwork.

Gwent: Art of the Witcher Card Game Volume 2 is the sequel to the first book, further detailing stunning Gwent art.

We know it's years away, but this cinematic Witcher IV trailer is too good not to watch again

Dark Horse is truly spoiling us with this one.

This hardback edition is available to preorder now and will set you back $50. For that amount, you’ll receive 248 pages about Gwent, its expansions, and commentary from CDPR developers.

“This glorious hardbound collection takes you on a journey through the game’s eight expansions, featuring a trove of meticulously crafted cards that players across the realm have used to wage war against their opponents,” its Amazon description reads.

“This celebration of art is also a celebration of Gwent’s place as a unique, memorable, and beloved part of The Witcher world, so enjoy your adventure through every page and every card within!”

Although you can order your copy now, it won’t be dispatched until early July.

If you’re interested in purchasing this new release but don’t have the first book, Gwent: Art of The Witcher Card Game is available from several retailers, priced at $39.99 (the price varies depending on where you shop).

We’ve got a long wait ahead before The Witcher 4 is on our consoles and Ciri’s fate is in our hands.

Whether you regularly play Gwent and want to learn more about the game you love, or you merely want to look at gorgeous art, Gwent: Art of the Witcher Card Game Volume 2 is the way to do it.
