The Witcher 4 fans can claim four free downloads today to brighten your day.
The Witcher 4 was first revealed at The Game Awards in 2024 with a glorious cinematic trailer powered by Unreal Engine 5, and it blew fans of the popular CDPR series away, and that’s without any gameplay.
“At the start of a new saga, players take on the role of Ciri, a professional monster slayer, and embark on a journey through a brutal, dark-fantasy world,” reads the description of The Witcher 4. “Powered by Unreal Engine 5, it aims to be the most immersive and ambitious open-world Witcher game to date.”

Just a few weeks ago, we were treated to a tech demo of The Witcher 4 featuring its main protagonist, Ciri. And if fans were blown away by its previous cinematic trailer, this tech demo gameplay was a gale force wind.
Perhaps most impressively, The Witcher 4 presentation was not being played on a high-spec PC or even a PlayStation 5 Pro, but a bog-standard PlayStation 5 at 4K and 60 frames-per-second.
Not long after the demo for The Witcher 4 debuted, CDPR, also the developers of Cyberpunk 2077, released some snazzy 4K screenshots. Four of these have been turned into new wallpapers and can be claimed for free.
The four wallpapers in question are pretty much exactly the same as the screenshots, but are a higher resolution, so you know they will look extra gorgeous as a PC wallpaper.

The wallpapers can be downloaded via the official website for The Witcher (linked in the tweet); just make sure you select the wallpapers to download and not the screenshots or the lower-res images from said tweet.
The Witcher 4 currently does not have a release date at the time of writing, but it might be safe to assume that its arrival is a couple of years away, at least.
As always, we’ll keep you posted when we learn more about The Witcher 4.
