The Witcher 3 new-gen update added 'realistic vaginas' and oh my god

For the most part, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s recent new-gen patch is everything fans could’ve wanted. The detail I don’t remember anyone asking for though was the inclusion of realistic vaginas but that’s seemingly what we’ve got because we live in a truly cursed world.

We did get some highly requested features like a fast travel sign inside Crow’s Perch, plus I do hope you checked out the brand new ‘In the Eternal Fire’s Shadow’ quest which, I can vouch, is top tier. You’ll get around 30 minutes of new content and it’s a must-play. The game ended up being one of the highest-rated games of 2022, despite a brief wave of review-bombing. It’s only now though that players are discovering the inclusion of realistic vaginas.

As reported by Kotaku, vaginas have made it into the game. Oh dear, here we go. Back in the original 2015 version of The Witcher 3, nude females sported what Kotaku referred to as a Barbie vagina. Essentially, there’s nothing there. It’s just a smooth patch of nothingness. Over the years, modders took it upon themselves to ‘fix’ this. Why, I hear you ask? Just circle back to the part where I said we lived in a truly cursed world.

Anyway, it’s now been discovered by players that CD Projekt Red decided they’d save modders a job and just add in vaginas themselves. As shared to Reddit by user Laenoric, nude in-game females do now have vaginas plus very well-maintained pubic hair. Warning, the linked Reddit post features a NSFW screenshot.

Thankfully, there are only a handful of nude encounters in the game so we’re not seeing vaginas pop up everywhere. Still, I know us video game fans like a bit of immersion but was this really necessary? The answer is no.
