Fans of The Last of Us are desperate for more stories within that world, and with the second season of the HBO adaptation leaving a bad taste for some, we need more of the Naughty Dog world now, more than ever.
Unfortunately, the developer is keeping very quiet on a third part to the series, with creative director Nail Druckmann avoiding the topic where possible, and leaving The Last of Us up in the air.
Instead, fans are discussing what they would have liked to see, if Naughty Dog had released DLC for The Last of Us Part 2.
On Reddit, one user asked, “What would you want out of a “Left Behind II” Story DLC for the second game?”

There are plenty of reactions and opinions, with some being very funny like this one, “You play as rat king and absorb hospital staff,” to others being more sombre.
Mostly, fans want more from the side characters, and this is expressed throughout the thread.
“I would want to see more of the Seraphites, specifically Lev and Yara,” replied kxtline.
While ThreePar said, “A Eugene story. Seems like he may have been an interesting character, and learning more about him and how he died could be fun.”
Of course, plenty of players want more of Ellie and Abby, too.
One Redditor comments they want to see, “Ellie en route to Santa Barbara,” or “Ellie and Dina on their way to Seattle.”
This sparks another user to say, “maybe Dina and JJ? You play as Dina after Ellie leaves for Santa Barbara and need to keep JJ safe as you move throughout Montana.”
There’s a vast amount of potential in these ideas, and in the characters, and perhaps one day we’ll see more.
As one Redditor notes, “Love all these ideas. Naughty Dog better get to workin’ on these.”
