The Game Awards 2025 Nominations Revealed, Clair Obscur Expedition 33 Leads The Way

December is fast approaching and that only means one thing.

The Game Awards 2025.

Hosted by Geoff Keighley and set to air on 11 December, The Game Awards is a celebration of another incredible year of gaming by shedding a light on the cream of the crop.

After all, there is no denying that 2025 has been another amazing year when it comes to video game releases with titles such as Silent Hill f, Split Fiction, Ghost of Yōtei, Death Stranding 2 and many more bursting onto those Metacritic charts.

When we all gather on 11 December, we will get to hear which of the year’s titles will bag themselves some hard-earned rewards.

Of course, this includes the most coveted award of all: Game of the Year.

With Astro Bot scooping the trophy last year, it remains to be seen who it will be handing its crown over to.

Thanks to the opinions of over 100 leading media and influencer outlets (including us here at GAMINGbible), the nominations for The Game Awards 2025 are finally here so without further ado, let’s take a look at the major categories.

However, it would seem as though Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has swept the board, racking up the most nominations across all categories with 12 altogether.

It is followed by Death Stranding 2: On the Beach and Ghost of Yōtei which received eight nominations each, Hades 2 with six nominations, Hollow Knight: Silksong with five and Split Fiction with four.

The Game Awards 2025 will be streamed live on 11 December.
