The Elder Scrolls VI feels like something of a mythical creature at this point with Bethesda remaining tight-lipped about the highly anticipated sequel.
First announced way back in 2018, The Elder Scrolls VI is set to be the first The Elder Scrolls entry since The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was released back in 2011 so it is safe to say that it is long overdue.
However, other than a brief teaser trailer that arrived alongside the announcement back in 2018, Bethesda has released no other information surrounding TES VI and, as you can imagine, fans are feeling the frustration.
Despite Bethesda also being hard at work on development for another big title, Fallout 5, fans are eager to see at least a proper trailer for TES VI and luckily, this wish may come true in upcoming months.

According to Jez Corden over on the Xbox Two Podcast, Bethesda is reportedly demonstrating The Elder Scrolls VI trailers internally.
Although this has not been confirmed by Bethesda and there is not yet any proof of this, if true, it would hint at development picking up pace behind the scenes.
That could definitely be the case according to one user over on r/TESVI.
“Hey, I've worked in game development for 15 years (not at Bethesda just so there is no confusion),” they shared.

“It's actually pretty normal to cut together a "trailer" to show our progress to the higher ups. We'd normally have to get one for the EOY investor call.”
So is this just a quickly put together trailer for the purpose of appeasing the Xbox higher-ups or is it a sign that one is getting ready to be released to the public?
Only time will tell.
In the meantime, fans are speculating as to when we could possibly see the long awaited TES VI trailer.

“This makes me believe that we might get something at The Game Awards this year with a late 2026 release date,” they speculated.
“11-11-26 would mark exactly 15 years since Skyrim was released.”
As mentioned, an official trailer has not been announced by Xbox or Bethesda but here’s hoping that the rumour is true and we can finally see some official content soon.
