A new gameplay leak for The Elder Scrolls 6 has got fans frustrated, with some completely confused at what state the game is in.
Although we still haven’t had any official news about The Elder Scrolls 6 yet, leaks and rumours about the upcoming game have surfaced quite a bit recently.
With the new rumour that Fallout 5 has been greenlit, it’s left The Elder Scrolls fans wondering just what the state of the next game is in. It’s not like Bethesda is hurrying to release a new trailer any time soon.

Windows Central’s Jez Corden has now claimed he’s heard The Elder Scrolls 6 is in a “quite playable” state.
However, he does not know at which stage in development the game is at, so we should take this all with a pinch of salt.
Obviously, this has frustrated fans because it doesn’t really mean anything. Playable can range from pretty much any stage of development.
“The Duke Nukem 2001 demo is quite playable, but that doesn't mean the game is complete. So, a little context would be nice. What phase is it on? Is it feature complete?” wrote one fan on the Gaming Leak and Rumours Reddit page.

“‘Quite playable’ can really mean anything. It can range from a prototype with all mechanics in place, or a vertical slice of gameplay with a few completed quests and open world areas, or a beta that’s just missing some art assets,” another comment wrote. “It’s impossible to know what level of ‘playable’ it is without more info.”
“[Hollow Knight] Silksong was playable at some events back in 2019 or 2020 and here we are,” wrote another comment.
Yep, this one hurts, because I’m one of the journalists who got to play Silksong six years ago. But we'll worry about that another time.

Hopefully, we’ll get to see a bit of The Elder Scrolls 6 very soon. Surely there’ll be a nice little trailer or some screenshots to enjoy at some point before the next generation, right Bethesda?
