The Boys season 5 major deaths confirmed, and we're scared

The Boys Season 5 will be the final season of Amazon’s superhero series, and it’s already teasing some vital character deaths.

Death is nothing new for the series, in fact it’s pretty much glorified it in the last few seasons with several characters, both important and unimportant, being brutally slaughtered for shock value.

Season 5 of The Boys will apparently be no different, and the writers are teasing no limits for who might get killed off next.

In an interview with Deadline director Eric Kripke said there’ll “probably be lots of deaths” when the final season drops, and I’m sure those who’ve read the comics we’ll have a good idea of who’ll end up on the slab next.

It’s a pretty safe bet that more of The Seven are going to get wiped out, after all it is the final season and they are the bad guys, it wouldn’t really make sense for any of them to be left standing by the time the final credits roll around.

What’ll be very interesting to see, and again the comic book readers will have an idea of this, is what members of The Boys will survive the upcoming events.

They’re in a pretty tough spot right now, with Billy Butcher completely off the rails and planning God knows what, and the rest of the cast either captured by Vought or on the run.

It’s shaping up to be an exciting final season, and I personally can’t wait to see that final interaction/fight between Billy and Homelander. They’ve already had a few scraps but I’m eager to see that promise of “scorched Earth” finally go all the way.

The Boys Season 5 is said to drop on Amazon Prime Video sometime next year in 2026, but spin-offs will continue.
