‘The Bob’s Burgers Movie’ Exclusive Clip Teases Struggles For The Belchers

The Bob's Burgers Movie is set to hit UK cinemas this Friday, and a new exclusive clip has teased more of what we can expect from it.

Bob’s Burgers is one of those shows that just holds immense recognisability. Even if you’ve never watched it, there’s no way that you won’t have encountered it in some form online, be it via a meme, reference, or even a TikTok. I’d know, because I’ve been there - I’ve genuinely lost count of the amount of viral TikTok audios that I’ve come across and laughed at, only to later discover that they were pulled straight from the show. Which really makes me think that I should watch it, actually.

Anyway, despite the first season airing over a full decade ago in 2011, the upcoming movie, simply titled The Bob’s Burgers Movie, is the first of its kind. After being announced in 2017, it’s faced a number of delays thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic (like many things), but is finally set to release in UK cinemas this Friday, 27 May. In an exclusive new clip, we’ve been given a teaser into the dangers that the Belchers and their titular restaurant will be facing in the film.

Take a look at the exclusive movie clip right here.

The Bob’s Burgers Movie is an animated, big-screen, musical comedy-mystery-adventure based on the long-running Emmy-winning series,” the official synopsis reads. “The story begins when a ruptured water main creates an enormous sinkhole right in front of Bob's Burgers, blocking the entrance indefinitely and ruining the Belchers’ plans for a successful summer. While Bob and Linda struggle to keep the business afloat, the kids try to solve a mystery that could save their family's restaurant. As the dangers mount, these underdogs help each other find hope and fight to get back behind the counter, where they belong.”

The clip itself finds Bob struggling after being rejected from the bank for a business loan extension - he only has seven days to pay it off before the restaurant is repossessed. How the family deal with that is another matter though - we’ll all have to wait and find out when the movie is released later this week.
