Stranger Things may be lurching towards its endgame with a fifth and final season on the horizon, but that doesn't mean Netflix is done milking its prize cash cow.
At least one unannounced Stranger Things spinoff is currently in development, with series creators Matt and Ross Duffer teasing that there are plenty more stories left to tell in the show's universe - even if they don't revolve around Eleven and the gang.
While the Duffers have yet to confirm the details of their Stranger Things spinoff/s there are plenty of fans who would love to see a series all about a young Jim Hopper. It's something that David Harbour, who plays the grumpy police chief on Stranger Things, has thought about too.

Speaking to GQ, Harbour said he feels like his beloved character "can exist independent" of him, and that he'd love to see someone else take on the role.
"At this point, I think Hopper is a character that can exist independent of me," he explained. "If they wanna go back in time, forward in time… I'd love to see another actor play Hopper and see what they can bring to it."
As for who Harbour would pick to play a young Hopper? Euphoria star Jacob Elordi is someone the actor thinks "could pull off being as handsome as I was at 20". Not a bad pick at all, to be fair.
It's worth noting that there are other fans out there who would love to see Joe Keery, who plays Steve Harrington on Stranger Things, to play a younger Hopper due to the fact that Harbour had similarly fabulous hair when he was younger (Google it!). Quite how that would work given Keery is already a familiar face to Stranger Things fans is unclear, but anything happen in Hawkins.
