The Harry Potter HBO reboot show is slowly building a solid cast, but there are still plenty of roles left to fill.
We don’t even know who’ll play our trio of protagonists, Harry, Ron and Hermione, but we do have Dumbledore and Snape’s castings down so that’s a good start. We’ve even potentially got Hagrid’s now too.

In the meantime fans are still throwing out names for who they’d like to play other iconic Harry Potter characters, and an inspired choice has been suggested for Harry’s mum, Lily Potter.
As we all know Lily and her husband James Potter don’t appear in the series often, only as flashbacks and ghosts in some of the later films, but they’re important characters nonetheless.

For Lily Potter some fans are suggesting Stranger Things star Sadie Sink for the role, making it a big month for Sadie Sink speculation as the actress is rumoured to be appearing in the next Spider-Man film as well…
“What if Sadie Sink was casted as Lily Potter?” asked Reddit user Numerous_Fox_2909, and they were met with a pretty positive response in the comments.
“She is the right age, has the right looks, is a talented actress, and probably knows the past form of cast. So I don't see why not” said one commenter.
Another added “I always liked her for Ginny but due to age etc. Lily would be perfect”, I can’t see her as Ginny personally but I’m sure she’d have done a great job regardless

Honestly I wasn’t sure about this casting at first because I thought Sadie Sink would be too young, I didn’t know Lily Potter was 21 when she died in the Harry Potter story so yeah Sadie Sink would meet that age requirement.
Arguably the best thing to come out of the Harry Potter HBO series casting though is all the new faces that’ll be cast for the child characters, and what excellent starting roles they’ll be for up and coming talent.
