Starfield fans obsessed with new free update that totally changes the game

Where we're going, we don't need roads...

A brand new update for Bethesda’s 2023 space exploration RPG Starfield is here, and it’s pretty obvious that players are only interested in one specific feature that the patch has to offer.

When Starfield first dropped, the review scores and the player reception were relatively disappointing. Most folks agreed that it’s a solid 7/10, the type of game that has a good framework but very little in the way of engaging content.

Bethesda have heard the playerbase’s qualms however, and they’ve decided to add a “long-requested” feature that’s sure to fix everything; a cool space buggy.

The “REV-8” space buggy has come equipped with booster jets, a rocket launcher, and the ability to fly, all of which were shown off in the latest trailer for Starfield that dropped last night.

There was other stuff in the patch, like performance upgrades, UI improvements and bug fixes but let’s be real - nobody cares about any of that when they added all of it alongside a cool flying space car.

In classic Bethesda fashion, the patch has broken some stuff though. I mean it’s just to be expected at this point.

Players online are complaining that it’s extremely easy to get the REV-8 stuck in certain areas, like for instance in this post on the Starfield subreddit which features the REV-8 beached upon some railings like a metal whale.

One user even explained that the buggy can, and regularly will, spawn out of thin air and crush random passersbys whenever you land on a populated planet.

“The first time I landed in New Atlantis,” explained the commenter, “I heard a scream behind me and turned around to see ground crew getting up off of the ground. I think the buggy shot out of the ship and knocked him over.”

Look forward to even more fun, new bugs when Starfield’s Shattered Space update launches next month on the 30th of September.
