Starfield free fan expansion quietly adds 300 new missions

An enormous update

Starfield fans are eating well with this new freebie thatadds over 300 missions to the game, perfect for those getting bored with it.

It’s pretty unfortunate that Starfield wasn’t the slam-hit success that Bethesda and its fans probably hoped it’d be, as it’s really not a bad game it just overhyped itself a little too much.

The Shattered Space DLC was pretty cool but didn’t quite fix the core problem

Calling the game Fallout but in space is a very accurate description, and while building your own spaceship was enjoyable there just wasn’t enough to keep many players entertained, it still has its fans though to be clear.

PC players especially are having more fun with the game thanks to mods, one of which adds an extraordinary 300 missions to the title, all of which are brand-new.

The mod is called Dark Universe - Overtime, and adds missions across 65 different types and all of which can be repeated.

It does wonders for the post-game when you’ve got very little left to do, that’s if you did all the side content along the way as well.

If anything the mod makes the game a little more like No Man’s Sky, with a mission board that lets you select your desired task, go out and complete, then come back and choose another, or the same one if you really liked what you just played.

That comparison to No Man’s Sky is another thing that probably hurt Starfield in the long run, as I’d imagine players were expected more of a sandbox to play in rather than a traditional Bethesda RPG.

That said if you’re committed to play more Starfield or plan on returning to it after a long break mods like these are well-worth your time, and the ones that change the visuals or add elements from other sci-fi games and IPs are even better.
