Starfield is already heavily discounted and way cheaper

Stargain hunters

Wanting to play Starfield but don't really feel like splashing out £70? You've got plenty of options, my friend.

If you're looking to get Bethesda's shiny new open-world space RPG for a steal, one thing you might consider is picking the game up via Xbox Game Pass. This way you can play Starfield for as long as you're subscribed to the service. If you only intend to play for a month, then you're paying a fraction of Starfield's retail price.

But we all know that Starfield is set to be a massive game. You probably want more than a month with it, I'm guessing. You probably want to own it forever, right? Well, the good news is it's already heavily discounted here in the UK.

Take a look at Starfield in action below!

Online retailer Hit is currently offering Starfield on Xbox Series X/S for £52.95, which saves you nearly £20. That's a pretty hefty discount, and easily the cheapest way to pick up Starfield I've seen so far outside of renting it via Game Pass.

Starfield is set to launch around the world 6 September, but you can play it even earlier than that if you've pre-ordered the game. Early access kicks off 1 September, giving you five whole days of extra space exploration. Oh, and if you really can't wait for that, there's a handy little trick that'll allow you to play the game on 31 August.

Anyway, while we all wait patiently for Starfield why not take a look at all of the incredible things that have already been confirmed for the game. Just this week, Bethesda teased an ‘astonishing’ number of side quests. We also know the game has over 1,000 planets to explore, various factions and branching paths and a sick af space samurai class to play as.

Yeah, we're going to be playing this game for a long time.
