Star Wars fans will soon be able to enjoy a highly anticipated new game, as it reportedly sets its sights on an August release date.
This year has proven to be a pretty eventful year for Star Wars as a franchise, especially for fans who enjoy the newer Disney content.
For starters, we got the first Star Wars movie in seven years in The Mandalorian and Grogu, and we’ve also recently had confirmation that Cal Kestis will be getting multiple new adventures.
However, while we await the October launch of Star Wars Galactic Racer, it looks like that we may also have a release date for Star Wars Zero Company.

As reported by billbil-kun over on Dealabs, Star Wars Zero Company is allegedly set for release on 27 August, 2026.
If true, Star Wars Zero Company will kick off a several week period between the end of August and beginning of October which sees up to 10 major AAA releases come out during that time.
With it coming in at the end of August, the game does at least have a small window of visibility before the onslaught of releases in September occurs, which includes the likes of The Blood of Dawnwalker, Control Resonant, and Marvel’s Wolverine.

Billbil-kun also claims that Star Wars Zero Company will have two editions, a standard one which will have a physical version, and a deluxe one that will be digital only.
They don’t have information on what’s included with each, but they do confirm that there won’t be any early access for deluxe owners.
The Standard Edition will apparently be priced at $49.99 / €49.99 on PC, and $59.99 on consoles. Meanwhile Deluxe will be higher, priced at $59.99 / €59.99 on PC and $69.99 on consoles.
Billbil-kun suggests that this information will be revealed at Summer Game Fest, which is set to air tomorrow at 9PM UK time and will last for around 2 hours.
Star Wars Zero Company is the new game from Bit Reactor, a new studio formed by ex-Firaxis Games who worked on the XCOM series. The game is a turn-based tactics similar to the XCOM series, but with a Star Wars lick of paint.
Respawn Entertainment, the developer behind the Star Wars Jedi series, is also supporting development.
“Command an elite squad through a gritty and authentic story in STAR WARS Zero Company™, a single-player turn-based tactics game developed by Bit Reactor in collaboration with Respawn Entertainment and Lucasfilm Games,” reads the blurb on Star Wars Zero Company.
“Set in the twilight of the Clone Wars, you will step into the shoes of Hawks, a former Republic officer who leads Zero Company — an unconventional outfit of professionals for hire hailing from across the galaxy.
“Hawks and Zero Company are recruited for an operation that pits them against an emerging threat that will consume the galaxy if left unchecked. To succeed, Hawks will lead a team of uneasy allies who must set aside their differences to overcome nearly impossible odds.”
