Star Wars fans rejoice because it looks like we’ve got something good that came from The Rise of Skywalker starring Rey and Kylo Ren.

I’ve loved the Star Wars series ever since I was knee-high to a grasshopper, immersed by its tales in a galaxy far, far away. That being said, it’s not always been sunshine and roses for even the most devoted Star Wars fans.

I really enjoyed Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens but not so much Episode VIII. However, as a colleague of mine recently put it, The Rise of Skywalker is so bad, that it makes Attack of the Clones look like Blade Runner.

Once a movie is released in cinemas, there’s not much that can be changed, unless edits are made in a director’s cut. Thankfully, in the world of comic books, just about anything can be rewritten and Star Wars is no exception.

On Reddit, Star Wars fans were discussing issue two (of five) of The Rise of Skywalker comic adaptation from Marvel.

“Another Redditor posted that this issue fixes the presence of General Leia Organa. For that, this issue becomes another solid continuation of the screen-to-page adaptation of the 2019 movie,” explained Suitable_Tomatillo59, keeping details spoiler-free.

“I’m a bit late to the game, but I just picked up issues one and two, and I’m enjoying this adaptation so far,” replied Flock_of_Porgs. “I love that we can see Rey's dark visions. I think it helps make the stakes feel more real instead of just hearing her talk about them in the movie.”

“I enjoyed it once again. The artwork is great, but not as good as issue one in my opinion,” said irazzleandazzle.

You can pick up issues of the Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker adaptation wherever you buy your comics and also enjoy the entire movie and TV saga on Disney Plus.
