It’s a good week to be a Star Wars fan. Even if you can’t make it over to Star Wars Celebration, which essentially includes the vast majority of us, it’s so exciting to see all the latest trailers and news dropping from the comfort of our homes.

Ready for the rundown? Lucasfilm kicked things off by releasing the first trailer for Star Wars: Andor, plus they revealed when The Mandalorian’s third season will be released. For us gaming fans, Respawn Entertainment dropped the first trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and the game seemingly confirms a major detail fans have long-been pleading for.

Check out the brand new trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor below!

In the build up to the release of the Obi-Wan Kenobi TV series, fans theorised that the series could contain a cameo from Fallen Order’s Cal Kestis. Obi-Wan Kenobi and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order are vaguely set within the same decade in the Star Wars timeline plus a few weeks ago, Obi-Wan actor Ewan McGregor did make a passing comment about how the series had to adhere to plot points established in Star Wars games.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’s official synopsis says that the game is set “five years after the events of Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order.” We know that Fallen Order was set five years after Episode III - Revenge of the Sith, which puts Survivor at approximately 10 years after Revenge of the Sith.

Do you know what else is set 10 years after the end of Episode III? That’s right, Obi-Wan Kenobi. Surely, this can’t be a coincidence? Given what McGregor has already said about linking to video games, a Cal cameo feels more likely than ever. After all, Obi-Wan is helping Jedi on the run following Order 66 which is exactly what Cal is.

It also helps that Cal actor Cameron Monaghan lended his likeness for the role so he could easily portray a live action Cal. With another four episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi to go, the answer certainly lies ahead.
