The Star Wars summer drought is almost over. Obi-Wan Kenobi is now a distant memory, although it does look like a second season could be on the way. Next up, we’ve got Star Wars: Andor and Rogue One’s standout rebel Cassian Andor is back and after a short delay, the series is set to debut with a three-episode premiere on 21 September. In the meantime, we’ve been treated to a brand new clip.
Take a look at Diego Luna and Stellan Skarsgård in action in Star Wars: Andor below.
Set prior to the events of Rogue One, Andor is a 12-episode series that explores Cassian's early involvement in the rebellion. As with any Star Wars project, so much is being kept under wraps but the scene clearly involves Cassian (Luna) and Luthen (Skarsgård) bartering over some kind of Imperial device, with Luthen taking more interest in how Cassian acquired the device than the device itself.

Lucasfilm are yet to release a Disney+ flop but neither Obi-Wan Kenobi nor The Book Of Boba Fett were met with overwhelmingly positive receptions. Fans sure do seem hopeful about Star Wars: Andor though.
Taking to the comments section of the clip on YouTube, Blue Sky wrote, “The calibre of actors on this show is phenomenal,” while Alejandro Exequiel Taborda added, “This show is going to be so good. I can already tell this is a dark, slow political conversation. It’s what we need from Star Wars.” 1313 Podcast commented, “This feels so unique from everything else we’ve gotten recently,” with Srabani Mukherjee speculating, “This series has the potential to become one of the greatest Star Wars shows of all time.” Bring on 21 September.
