'Spider-Man: No Way Home' Blu-Ray Has 100 Minutes Of New Footage, Says Insider

Spider-Man: Stay Home And Watch This

Spoilers for Spider-Man: No Way Home ahead. Will you proceed? Or will you run? Either way, you've been warned.

I think we can all agree that at just under two and a half hours, the theatrical cut of Spider-Man: No Way Home is exactly as long as it needs to be.

Frankly, I'm amazed they managed to squeeze everything they did into the time they had. In the span of 148 minutes, we had multiple villains with their own self-contained arcs, multiple cameos setting up the future of the MCU, and a mutiversal Spider-Man team up that somehow still found the time to drive Tom Holland's Spidey story forward in an organic way.

Of course, there are always those die-hard fans that want more. Charlie Cox's surprise Matt Murdock/Daredevil return, for instance, was only limited to one scene. And I would gladly take as much footage of Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield, and Tobey Maguire hanging out as you can throw at me.

That's why we're particularly excited to hear that the upcoming Blu-ray release of No Way Home is rumoured to include an additional 100 minutes of deleted scenes and bonus content, much of which is said to show off exactly what we're after: more Daredevil, and more Spider-Men quality time.

This is according to VFX Artist and insider Amit Chaudhari, who shared a complete rundown of the alleged footage on Twitter earlier this month. Take this with a pinch of salt until it's been officially confirmed, obviously, but given how much of No Way Home found its way onto the internet ahead of time, I can believe that the home release is going to be hit with just as many leaks.

As you can see above, the 100 minutes is made up of deleted scenes (more Daredevil!) and special behind-the-scenes features that promise to dive into the making of the movie. All told, it looks like there'll be plenty for Spidey fans to sink their teeth into when the Blu-ray releases later this year. We'll be sure to update you as soon as the movie's home release is given an official date.
