The latest modlist for Bethesda’s 2011 RPG The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim looks incredible, but you’re probably going to need a computer from 2035 to actually run it.

The “Skyrim ULTIMA” modlist was put together by a user by the name of Nukt, and honestly I’m not even sure what kind of specs you’d need to get this thing to run.

Even Nukt’s “outdated” video of the modlist looks like a next-gen game, so I shudder to think what kind of machine would be required to run the current version.

It seems everyone in the comments agrees too, because the overall sentiment is that this looks like a completely different video game altogether.

“Damn you can't even tell it's Skyrim anymore. Usually a lot of animation mods are pretty janky and clip pretty badly too. But with your configuration it's so seamless like 90% of the time, “ commented user @ubidoo9906.

“Not to mention your UI and audio overall gives Skyrim a very updated touch. This is one of the most impressively blended modlists I've ever seen. And the graphics are beautiful.”

“The combat is so satisfying it really makes you feel like the actual Dragonborn. The mountain climbing is a game changer instead of just spamming jump lmao,” replied user @maridiancomer7635.

“The draugr sounds were terrifying. Regardless I hope Bethesda is taking notes this completely changed the game.”

If you really want to attempt giving this a go for yourself, Nukt does list the older version of the modlist in their video.

However, it seems there’s a slightly updated version available over on Nexus if you’re really feeling brave.

I for one won’t be attempting to give this modlist a go, mostly because my PC isn’t insured against randomly combusting. If you do manage to get it up and running though, maybe keep a fire extinguisher at hand.
