A Skyrim player marries a dragon (yes, really), and it’s a ceremony that turns into absolute chaos, to no surprise whatsoever.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is truly a wonderful game in many ways, and it’s no wonder that it has remained so popular since its release in 2011 on PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
Skyrim has a wonderful rags-to-riches story, as you embark on epic quests in the land of the mythical Tamriel. It has loads of secrets to discover, charming NPCs, fun combat and much more.
It’s no wonder the Bethesda fantasy RPG is so beloved, especially with so many possibilities that make each playthrough different from the last. However, it doesn't get much more different than marrying a dragon in Skyrim.

When Bethesda made it a feature that you can marry NPCs in this long-running entry in The Elder Scrolls series, I don't think the developers had a dragon on their bingo cards, but here we are.
“I married a dragon and it nearly crashed my game,” declared Redditor Thin-Coyote-551. “It was buggy as Oblivion, and I had to reload the game about six to seven times, but it finally worked!”
“I’m not sure if I’ll use them as [a married NPC], because the one time they tried to help, they killed 10-15 spouses, but it’s the thought that counts.”
The captured gameplay clip shared by Thin-Coyote-551 is utter chaos, and it’s difficult to see what exactly is going on, especially with the dragon glitch dancing all over the place. Does that count as the married couple's first dance?

Typically, you can't marry a dragon in Skyrim. Thin-Coyote-551 explains to another member on the thread, this is achieved by using a mod. This mod was used on Xbox, but it repeatedly crashes the console.

“At least you won’t have to worry about your spouse being taken for ransom by bandits,” replied 3lfSquire (a thing that happens in Skyrim).
“Marrying a dragon? At least you won’t get cold feet,” joked SylvesterNettlefoot.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is out now on PC and practically every modern console available. It’s also playable with an Xbox Game Pass subscription at no extra cost.
