There's no end to Bethesda's love affair with Skyrim, as the fifth instalment of The Elder Scrolls continues to get new releases as it passes milestone after milestone.
Through the developer support and the backing of the astoundingly creative mod community, the legendary RPG stands tall decades after its release - an accolade that every open-world game dreams of.
Now, The Elder Scrolls has had its greatest new release ever. No, not the sixth instalment that we've been clawing after for years, but through a mod inside Fallout 4 to play Skyrim on a Pip-Boy.
Fallout 4, another spectacular Bethesda creation, has become an equally fascinating sandbox for mods, especially after consoles have begun turning a blind eye to it.
Through the Pip-Boy (Fallout's own handheld game console), long-time Bethesda fans have now found a way to port Skyrim as a playable game within the Vaults.

Modder 'RPGKING' has showcased his new port of the RPG inside the post-apocalyptic title, merging thousands of years together, and even in the year 2287, Skyrim's timeless quality stands tall.

The mod is admittedly quite choppy, with the mod taking to the YouTube description to confess to its lag.
Typically, Lydia plagues the game as the glitch queen she is, while the tabbing in and out of the Pip-Boy also proves to be quite laggy.
But the creator pledges to iron out the creases with future updates.
In the example video, the Skyrim port showcases the opening sequence with the iconic 'hey, you're finally awake' quip as the Dragonborn escapes Helgen.
"It looks like I have some lag to fix, but everything else works perfectly," he said.
It's not the first time that the modder has pulled off such a feat, as he previously did the same with The Elder Scrolls' Morrowind.
It's one of the more creative ways to play Skyrim, and if you get fed up with crawling through Falkreath's Falmer-infested caves, you can quickly tab out and pet Dogmeat.
Yet, if you're like us, sticking to the mods that expand on the game might be more your speed - speaking of which, the Thieves Guild questline expansion is one of the best out there.
