It is hard to believe that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is fast approaching its 15-year anniversary but even more than that, it is even harder to believe that there are still plenty of things we have not yet discovered in the Bethesda RPG.
However, when it comes to Bethesda, open-world RPGs are its speciality (except for Starfield) so it is perhaps not a true shock that players are still stumbling across secret rooms, items, and locations to this day.
Luckily, heading over to r/skyrim will help you with this as fellow players are always happy to offer their tips and tricks to experience The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim to its full potential.
That was certainly the case back when one user asked: “What is the single most obscure/hidden/least known THING in Skyrim?”

Of course, the comments soon filled up with fellow players offering some of the more obscure features throughout Skyrim but it was one comment that stood out more than the rest.
“For actual places to go without console commands, I suggest climbing the four hidden peaks in Solstheim,” user Coschta shared.
“There are four peaks that reveal markers on the map only once you reach the very top. The climb is very risky and definitely a challenge.”
Risky climbs are no problem for the average Skyrim player as scaling mountains on horse or foot is simple by spamming the jump button.

However, the four hidden peaks in Solstheim are not something that the average player would stumble across. Well, they are hidden peaks for a reason.
“Played it for 1000s of hours and I never knew that,” one user replied.
According to Coschta, the map indicators only appear when you reach the top of each peak, hence they are easy to miss but it is definitely worth the climb if you want to explore a breathtaking location.
