‘Sims 4’ Player Recreates The ‘Love Island’ Villa, And It’s Actually Very Impressive

One Sims 4 player recreated the iconic Love Island villa from the UK's infamous dating show.

Even two decades after the first game was released, The Sims franchise continues to be hugely popular and recent updates have made the game more inclusive than ever, adding customisable pronouns.

It’s always fun to make your sim but my favorite part of the game has always been building and decorating my Sims’ house. I’d like to think it’s something I’m decent at, yet one fan has got me questioning my virtual building skills because they’ve recreated the Love Island villa - and the result is actually kind of stunning.

Take a look at this incredible underwater home made in The Sims 4. I wish I had that level of talent.

Twitter user steph0sims took to the social media platform to share her creation. Love Island is a divisive show. You either love it or you want nothing to do with it, as previously debated by the GAMINGbible team. If you don’t know, Love Island is a staple summer dating show which sees singletons whisked off to a sunny villa to find love.

Steph0sims faithfully recreated the Mallorcan villa down the terrace, the bedroom and the iconic firepit which is, of course, the setting for the show’s drama-fuelled recouplings. Take a look at the creation below.

Speaking about the project, steph0sims explained, “Love Island didn’t release any floor plans, so I had to work it out as I went along based on the size of rooms and furniture. Every single object had to be placed individually including all the strip lights on the floor, so I ended up with 15 hours of recorded footage.” Now the creator just needs to fill the villa with Islanders. It takes dedication to spend 15 hours on a single Sims build but you know what, I respect it.
