Silent Hill has just made one of its strangest announcements yet, and it will give you restless dreams.

Just to be sure, I did check that this was no April Fool’s joke, but I can promise you that this Silent Hill item is 100% real and you can pre-order it via Konami’s digital store, OKS Gear.

It’s fair to say that since its inception on the original PlayStation in 1999, the Silent Hill franchise has been one of the strangest and most disturbing franchises there has ever been, exploring the human psyche and venturing into very controversial themes.

Is This the Most Disturbing Silent Hill Release Yet?

Sadly, I’m not talking about the very suspicious-looking Split Head plush, no. I’m talking about the main character of Silent Hill 2, none other than James Sunderland, more specifically, from the 2024 remake.

Depending on your perspective, you may consider James Sunderland to be a protagonist or antagonist. However, regardless of your perspective, there’s a good chance that he’s earned some kind of weird place in your heart, and if he has, then this pre-order might just be for you.

Take 5ft of James Sunderland to Bed

Teased on the official Konami social media pages is the ‘Silent Hill 2 James Body Pillow’. Yes, it’s probably exactly what you think it is. It’s a full-body pillow of James Sunderland.

In the video games, James Sunderland is said to be about 6ft tall, but his body comes in at a short 5ft. The image on the page is of James, lying down, staring at you with dreamy eyes, with one hand placed on his head (the one on the neck), and the other holding a poem from his dead wife.

“A deeply questionable life choice, and also the most comfortable way to emotionally spiral. Introducing the Silent Hill 2-Inspired Pillow,” reads the description on OKS Gear. “Ever wanted to sit in silence, reflect on your life decisions, and hug James Sunderland while doing it? Now you can.”

When Can I Pre-Order the Silent Hill 2 James Body Pillow?

It’s available to pre-order right now for $69.99 (nice). Being a US-based store, increased delivery costs and potential import fees may be charged for other countries.

Pre-orders are only active for a limited time, and once that time expires, it won’t be possible to buy this item from the store. Though I expect third-party sellers will have a field day with this.

The pre-order window closes next week on Tuesday, 7 April 2026. So get your orders in ASAP to avoid missing out on sleeping with James Sunderland.
