breaking news

We were treated to the first gameplay for Silent Hill f and not only that, but we also finally got a release date.
We first saw a proper trailer for Silent Hill f back in March this year, and while it helped set the tone for the game, it featured no actual in-game footage. But that has now changed with Konami releasing it's first gameplay.
Check out the Silent Hill f gameplay trailer below!
"In 1960s Japan, Shimizu Hinako's secluded town of Ebisugaoka is consumed by a sudden fog, transforming her home into a haunting nightmare," reads the synopsis of Silent Hill f. "As the town falls silent and the fog thickens, Hinako must navigate the twisted paths of Ebisugaoka, solving complex puzzles and confronting grotesque monsters to survive."

Silent Hill f looks to have a very different vibe to most other games in the series, but it certainly looks no less scary and it’s honing in on that iconic Japanese horror vibe.
The latest entry in Konami’s beloved survival horror series will once again bring in the composing talents of Akira Yamaoka, a veteran of the series who has been with it since the first game launched on the original PlayStation in 1999. So, at least something will be a little familiar.
We got to see some of its new horrific creatures in action, and it’s fair to say that it’s probably going to give us all a few nightmares, at least. Many of the Silent Hill games have a connection of sorts, so it will be interesting to see if that remains so with this latest game set in the 1960s.
Silent Hill f will be released on 25 September 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Hopefully, it will suffer no delays, because I want to play this game as soon as possible.
