Fans of the Resident Evil or Silent Hill series should keep this upcoming horror release on their radar as it is guaranteed to capture the terror of some of the greats.

With their very first titles being released back in the late 90s and still continuing to this day, both the Resident Evil and Silent Hill series are as popular now as they were almost thirty years ago.

So much so, that remakes such as the 2024 Silent Hill 2 Remake and 2023’s Resident Evil 4 Remake are being met with critical success and still inspiring other horror titles to this day.

That includes Liminal Point.

Set to release some time in 2026, Liminal Point is a “classic survival horror” which tells the story of Lyra.

After she is summoned to Ashen Point by a cryptic voicemail, she soon finds herself faced with unimaginable horrors as she explores the island where her bandmates met their demise.

With the town shrouded by fog and with monsters aplenty, Lyra must confront deadly creatures as she fights to reveal the truth behind that fateful night.

Developed by HideWorks, Liminal Point is a psychological survival horror which pays homage to the greats.

“As Lyra explores the island’s eerie, abandoned locations, she will encounter cryptic messages, twisted creatures that defy understanding, and a haunting past that refuses to stay buried,” the official synopsis reads.

“With every step, the world around her becomes more surreal, challenging her grip on reality and forcing her to confront the depths of her own psyche.

With limited resources, tense encounters and an eerie atmosphere, Liminal Point is everything that a horror fan craves and luckily, you can add it to your wishlist on Steam right now.
