Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 player has built a track that will outlast the universe, apparently.

Developed by Chris Sawyer and published by Infogrames Interactive in 2002 on PC, Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 is considered to be one of the true theme park management greats of yesteryear.

It is a game in which you can build the theme park of your dreams or in my case, a theme park that I thought looked great, but went out of business quicker than Google Stadia. Do you know what? I don’t care what those NPC customers say, my theme parks were great!

For its time, Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 was a game of seemingly endless possibility, as long as you knew what you were doing, of course. Well, one player has taken the term endless possibilities to a whole new level or we should say, to a new universe.

As reported by PC Gamer (via Kotaku), a dedicated Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 player and streamer, named Marcel Vos has built a theme park ride that will apparently last a near eternity.

Don’t get me wrong, despite having a fear of heights, I love rollercoasters. But to be stuck on one for a near eternity could very well be a fate worse than a Wu-Tang Clan fan accidentally attending a Backstreet Boys tribute act at your local community centre.

The theme park ride built by Marcel Vos is said to have taken 12 years to construct and apparently takes over three quinvigintillion years to complete. I didn't even realise a quinvigintillion was a thing until now! As a reference, quinvigintillion has 78 zero’s following the number one.

All is explained for the near never-ending rollercoaster in Marcel Vos's 14-minute YouTube upload, showcasing the hellish nature of his custom theme park ride.

Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 as well as a number of sequels and ports are available on PC, VR and mobile.
