Everybody’s favourite part man/part machine cop is getting their very own video game this November. Until then RoboCop: Rogue City will be available as a PC demo via Steam for those who want to try before they buy.

RoboCop: Rogue City is an upcoming FPS shooter by Teyon and will feature the original storyline from the 1987 RoboCop movie onwards. Starring Peter Weller reprising his role of RoboCop himself, he must fight crime in the crime-ridden streets of Old Detroit all whilst upholding the law by any means necessary. With an arsenal of over twenty weapons and cybernetic abilities, eradicating enemies will come easily thanks to your superhuman strength.

Check out the RoboCop: Rogue City gameplay trailer below!

“The city of Detroit has been hit by a series of crimes, and a new enemy is threatening the public order”, the official synopsis reads. “Your investigation leads you right into the heart of a shadowy project in an original story that takes place between RoboCop 2 and 3. Explore iconic locations and meet familiar faces from the world of RoboCop.”

Tasked with completing objectives based on your sense of justice, you can solve crimes by collecting evidence, interrogating witnesses and completing daily tasks as a police officer. However, be aware that your choices can deeply impact the fate of both the citizens of Old Detroit and your mission as a whole. Alongside important missions, you will get to explore iconic locations and meet familiar faces from the RoboCop movie series.

For the next thirteen days, players will be able to access the free PC demo on Steam which will include the first three levels of the game. This gives you the opportunity to try the game, test out your PC specs and experience the gameplay before it launches on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC on November 2. If you decide you like it enough to buy it, preordering will give you access to the Vanguard Pack which includes the blue armour and handgun featured in the movies.

If you wanted to be Batman without the wings and stacks of cash, this is the game for you.
