breaking news

Despite being teased all night, the Summer Game Fest has finally delivered by dropping the trailer for Resident Evil 9: Requiem alongside a release date.
This year’s Summer Game Fest is currently live and despite Geoff Keighley and guests originally telling us not to look forward to a Resident Evil trailer, it seems that we have been lied to.
Capcom has been working on Resident Evil: Requiem and it is set to launch on 27 February 2026.

The trailer showed us a glimpse of what we can expect to be our brand-new protagonist Grace Ashcroft but Resident Evil fans will notice that she bears a striking resemblance to Rose, Ethan’s grown-up daughter from Resident Evil Village.
Not to mention that the Ashcrofts are the villainous family from Resident Evil – Code: Veronica so it will be interesting to see how Grace ties into some previous characters.
Either way, we see Grace at work at the FBI bureau but it is not long before she is called to her boss’ office to accept a new task.
Check out the new trailer below!
He reveals that they have found another body that “exhibits the same pathology as we’ve been investigating” and as a result, a good technical analyst will need to go to the scene of the crime to check it out.

The good news is that Grace qualifies but the bad news is that she will have to travel to the hotel that her mother was murdered in which may prove a bit of an issue.
It is not long before the true Resident Evil horror pursues and Grace will be left battling for her life when things soon take a turn for the worse in the iconic Racoon City.
Resident Evil: Requiem will launch on 27 February 2026.
