This upcoming WW2 first-person shooter looks like a neat blend between Resident Evil and Battlefield, and yo– wait, hold up, is that you, Call of Duty: World at War Nazi Zombies mode?! Oh my god, you’re as beautiful as the day I lost you.
Look, the new Call of Duty zombie modes are… fine. Serviceable. Borderline, on occasion, fun. But, and call me old and nostalgic if you want, they’ve never managed to top the maps in both Call of Duty: World at War and the original Call of Duty: Black Ops.
Which is why I’m very happy to introduce you to Milo, a WW2 FPS that looks straight out of the OG Nazi Zombies modes.

Bad news: Milo isn’t set to drop until October 2025, so you can’t get your hands on the full release right now.
Good news: there’s a demo for the game out right now, and it has a whopping 100% positive review rating on Steam with (as of writing) 64 individual reviews.
So, what are the reviews saying? Exactly what I was I hoping they’d say, because all of them are just positively comparing it to the original Call of Duty zombie maps.
“11.9/10. F'ing great game and cant wait for more with Co-op and more maps”, writes user Notorious.

“Really gives me that OG COD zombies feel but still does enough different to set it apart. Absolute BANGER!” writes reviewer pine.
Honestly, if the reception is this good for just the demo, I cannot wait to get my hands on the full release of this one.
Incredibly impressive work from what appears to be a mostly solo developed project, too. I already feel extremely confident about this one, and I whacked it in my wishlist as soon as I laid my eyes on that first trailer. Best of luck to the devs for the full release.
