Red Dead Redemption 2's 'most frustrating' mission divides fans

Red Dead Redemption 2 players recently held a discussion online regarding what they believe to be the “most frustrating” mission in the game, with everyone seemingly having a different answer.

The story and side content in Red Dead Redemption 2 is amazing, which is something that can be said for all Rockstar Games titles. However, no Rockstar game is perfect when it comes to its missions. Some can be incredibly frustrating, unfair and downright bad. The GTA V yoga missions are a perfect example of that.

I find that the worst missions in Rockstar Games tend to be ones where you need to follow an NPC for a certain amount of time or distance, having to keep stopping and speeding up so you’re not too far away from, which usually results in a mission failure.

Imaginary-Picture-35 decided to share a post asking the Red Dead Redemption community what they believe to be “the most frustrating mission” they’d experienced, with their pick being the Money Lending and Other Sins mission featuring the character Winton Holmes.

Other commenters had their own experiences and hated missions to share, with everyone’s answers being very different.

“Saving Micah from Strawberry Jail ... I hate that guy so much wish could join the crowd to watch him swing”

“Any of the bounty missions with Sadie in the epilogue. I just wanna build a house and shoot rats goddamnit”

“Ugh the one where you have to chase the circus dwarf through the swamps while he’s evading you by throwing smoke bombs.”

That’s quite a varied selection, most of which are entirely justifiable, although I will say that I quite enjoyed the bounty hunting missions, but can understand that they won’t be everyone’s cup of tea.

It just goes to show that despite arguably being Rockstar’s best game yet, before Grand Theft Auto VI comes out of course, there’s still a fair amount of stuff that doesn’t sit right with fans. Luckily, the occasional bad mission doesn’t ruin the overall experience, and Red Dead Redemption 2 will still be remembered as one of the greatest of all time.
