Red Dead Redemption 2 is a game of many mysteries, some of which may never be fully solved. Its vast open world is full of strange creatures, unexplained encounters, and a wealth of secrets. And that's why we love it.

Fans of Red Dead Redemption 2 recently found themselves blown away by a hidden cheat code, discovered nearly five years after the game was originally released.

Take a look at some of the best Red Dead Redemption 2 wins and fails below!

Players have gladly sunk hundreds of hours into exploring the game's gorgeous open world, and it's wonderful to see how we're still able to find new surprises to this day. One Reddit user stumbled upon a hidden message on their third playthrough of the game, only to realise it was a previously undiscovered cheat code.

“Another one of these left behind sayings, each one is a different cheat code,” explained ImportantMoment5001. This particular code spawns a wagon, in case you were wondering.

“Just learning this game had cheat codes and I have two 100+ hour playthroughs under my belt. Time for a third 100+ hour playthrough I guess,” remarked the excellently named von-brohenheim.

If you're looking to use cheats on PlayStation you'll need to go into the settings and then press Triangle, after which you'll be prompted to enter any codes you may have found. Just be aware that you can't save or earn trophies while cheats are active.

In other Red Dead Redemption 2 news, the game finally has a new-gen 60fps update, but it's definitely not the one we expected. A fan also put together an incredible Undead Nightmare 2 DLC trailer that just reminds us how desperately we want to see Rockstar give us the real thing somewhere down the line. I wouldn't hold your breath though.
