Red Dead Redemption 2 fans can claim free digital goodies right now but you do not have long to make them yours, so act fast to avoid missing out.

Even without its impressive score of 97 on Metacritic, it’s not hard to understand why Rockstar Games’ Red Dead Redemption 2 is so beloved by fans. It features a huge and immersive open world with fun activities, a gripping story, fun gameplay and a protagonist in Arthur Morgan that you’d go to war for.

Once you’re done with one or two playthroughs of the Red Dead Redemption 2 single-player campaign, you can experience the wonderful Western world grafted by Rockstar Games with other players across the globe in Red Dead Online.

“Step into the vibrant, ever-evolving world of Red Dead Online and experience life in frontier America,” reads the description of the game. “Chase down bounties, battle outlaw gangs and other players, hunt, fish and trade, search for exotic treasures, run Moonshine, and much more to discover in a world of astounding depth and detail.”

Whether it's performing a perfect bank heist (which usually results in bedlam), robbing unsuspecting NPCs on the dusty road or just making other players' lives hell in-game for the sake of it, there’s plenty of fun to be had in Red Dead Online.

What’s more, Rockstar Games regularly supports Red Dead Online with monthly events and one such event is taking place right now with the ‘Blood Money Bonuses’ which offers free DLC, in-game currency, bonus XP and more simply by playing the game.

By playing Red Dead Online from now until 3 February 2025, you will be rewarded with 25 Capitale (a currency to unlock special missions) as well as the blue Manteca Hat.

Furthermore, by ranking up five times or reaching Rank 20 as a Collector, you’ll be gifted with the free cosmetic grey Pelt Half Chaps. However, this reward is only available until 27 January when it’s replaced by the next incentive.

Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online are out now on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
