Red Dead Redemption 2 drops free DLC you can download starting today

Red Dead Redemption 2 has a bunch of freebies you can grab now if you log into the game this week.
Over the years, Rockstar Games has run a lot of different promotions and events for Red Dead Online, allowing you to unlock free in-game content to use with your online character.
Earlier this month, Rockstar launched Strange Tales of the West Vol. 1, an expansion for Red Dead Online which introduces the supernatural to the Red Dead Redemption 2 Wild West.
New Telegram missions allow you to mingle with the odd and unexplained, introducing undead and otherwise paranormal enemies to deal with across these new events.

Of course, with new content also comes new rewards, as Rockstar is offering players this week the chance to grab a free Torranca Coat just for logging in.
In order to claim the Torranca Coat, you need to be at Level 15 or higher in the Naturalist role.
Once you meet these requirements, you can grab the jacket at any time by simply logging into Red Dead Online.
The Torranca Coat is available between today, 8th July, and 14th July—so you’ve got a full week to get it. That’s more than enough time to level up if you’re a little behind in the Naturalist role.
Once that expires, the next challenge will unlock the following week, where you’ll be able to receive the Porter Jacket by hunting a Legendary Bear.
Meanwhile, Red Dead Online players can also get 3X Gold, RDO$, and XP on Telegram Missions, 3X RDO$ and XP on Sample Sales, and 2X RDO$ and XP on Featured Series.
That’s perfect if you’re a little behind on making money or ranking up.
