Red Dead Redemption 2 players can now access a new Guarma expansion which allows you to explore new locations within the fictional Caribbean island.
As any Red Dead player can tell you, Guarma is the primary location for where most of the game’s fifth chapter takes place.
The storyline sees Arthur Morgan and several members of his crew shipwrecked and stranded on foreign soil, spending a number of weeks there until they can find a way back.
While Guarma is unavailable to access again once you’ve left there in Red Dead Redemption 2's story mode, there are ways to go back via glitches or mods, with there being quite a few mods allowing you to do this released in the past.

This new mod adds new locations to Guarma to flesh out the exploration a little should you decide to return to the island.
Titled Guarma Expanded - Added Small Locations, this mod by hackrdude83 essentially adds some new places to visit while you’re in Guarma.
To start with, the mod adds an old pirate shipwreck to the very north of the island, featuring the dead body of a pirate and some tasty loot to grab alongside it.
Venturing further south, an escapee from the Aguasdulces plantation and his dog can be found taking shelter in a building near the shore. South of that, you can also find a cemetery further inland which features the graves of Guarma’s rebel fighters who perished in previous battles.

Closer to Aguasdulces the mod adds a settlement for an international animal hunter who has come to Guarma to hunt exotic animals and obtain their pelts.
Finally, a group of moonshiners can be found at the very south of the map in a ruined building, who are producing moonshine for the rebels.
Although it won’t work in the vanilla game without a way to comfortably get back to Guarma, the good news is that there are plenty of methods to do this, from glitching your way back to the island, to installing mods which bypass the leg work.
However, there are some other Red Dead Redemption 2 mods that you’re required to install if you’d like to use Guarma Expanded.
For starters, you’ll need Rampage Trainer and Lenny’s Mod Loader to be able to load the mod and access Guarma safely. You’ll also need Guarma Pirate Restored so the pirate will spawn at the shipwreck.
Each of those mods are listed on the Guarma Expanded mod page, so be sure to download them all from there before you install this mod.
Once you've done this, you can go to Guarma by using Rampage Trainer to relocate yourself to the island, and can then go off exploring the new locations.
