Red Dead Redemption 2 players warned they've 24 hours to nab free DLC

To celebrate Thanksgiving season, Rockstar is treating its Red Dead Redemption 2 players to some epic freebies.

It is hard to believe that it is that time of year again and that Christmas is right around the corner.

However, before that, there is Thanksgiving and to celebrate, Red Dead Redemption 2 players can earn some limited-time freebies for Red Dead Online.

“Celebrate Thanksgiving Season in Red Dead Online with Trader Bonuses,” Rockstar recently announced.

“Traders play a key role during this time of year across the frontier, supplying pelts, hides, and more to ensure the warmth and joy of the holiday season as winter approaches.

This month, Traders can look forward to boosted rewards and exclusive bonuses for keeping their inventories well-stocked and contributing to the season of unity, gratitude, and abundance.”

Throughout the rest of November, Red Dead Online Traders can earn double rewards on sales, boosted payouts, limited-time clothing and more.

There are also weekly and monthly rewards and players can even earn 20 small game arrows and three potent miracle tonics just for logging in during the event.

However, each week starting from 5 November, you can earn a cosmetic and this includes the Faucheux Gloves which are available for the next 24 hours.

Don’t miss out on this free cosmetic as a brand-new item will be available as of 12 November.

The Faucheux Gloves are just one of many items you can earn in the lead up to December and it is clear that, despite its work on Grand Theft Auto VI, Rockstar is not about to abandon its Red Dead Online players.

With GTA VI online still expected to land between September-November of 2025, we should make the most out of these events before millions of fans pack up their horses and head back to Vice City.
