Red Dead Redemption 2 New DLC Available For One Week Only

Red Dead Redemption 2's single-player mode was such a spectacular cinematic experience, that it only feels right that we forgive them for the distinct lack of content that we've had since the original release.

The lack of an Undead Nightmare this time around aside, there is still plenty to be getting on with if you've finished the main story and hunted the Legendary Animals, particularly in the game's multiplayer modes.

The month of September has been a particularly good one in that regard, with the Collector Bonuses event giving everyone the opportunity to accrue a ton of exciting loot for their characters.

That's still ongoing, and you'll want to be jumping on ASAP if you don't want to miss out. Starting on 23 September, the Team Gun Rush Series will begin, offering 4x RDO$ and XP with each completion. That's running until 30 September, when it will be replaced with the Hardcore Pro Series.

Salvage and Condor Egg Collector Free Roam Events are also well worth pursuing until 6 October, with 3X RDO$ and XP through October 6 for finding the most collectibles in Salvage, or tracking down the prized Condor Egg. As part of that, there are also triple Role XP rewards every time you discover collectibles in the wild.

That generosity extends out to Free Roam Events, where you can also get 3X RDO$, XP and Gold for every completion.

Additionally, if you complete any Free Roam Event between 23 September and 29 September, you'll be rewarded with the Coins Collector Map, which reveals the locations of all the rarest coins on the multiplayer map.

If you're into fashion and haven't picked them up yet, there are several clothing items that have returned for a limited time including the Gator Hat, Eberhart Coat, Torranca Coat, Salter Shoes, Cardozo Vest, Darned Stockings and Shaffer Chaps.

There is also a preacher-style outfit designed by members of the community, that you can head over to Wheeler, Rawson & Co. to pick up. The items you're looking for are the Stalker Hat, Roller Jacket (Male), Loose Patch Coat (Female), Paisley Vest, Collar Overshirt (Male), Doily Shirtwaist (Female), Cuffed Town Pants and Workman’s Boots, all of which are totally free.

The Collector's event continues until October 6 at large, though you will need to be aware of rotating cycles within that.

The main ones to keep an eye on are the Weekly Rewards and Featured Series highlighted above, but there are some smaller nuances in the game's stores to watch as well.
