New Pokémon Special Sees Brock Shirtless And The Thirst Is Real

New Pokémon Special Sees Brock Shirtless And The Thirst Is Real

Pokémon: The Arceus Chronicles has been announced - and it features a very shirtless Brock.

In the past couple of weeks, Pokémon fans have had a lot of information to digest. The reveal of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet introduced us to the very memeable Lechonk, and then a deep dive into the title’s gameplay launched Fidough into the world. Now, the Pokémon fandom has been sent into yet another frenzy but it’s not over a Pokémon this time. It’s over buff Brock.

Check out the brand new trailer for Pokémon: The Arceus Chronicles below.

Yesterday, The Pokémon Company surprised us all by announcing Pokémon: The Arceus Chronicles - an animated special coming to Netflix later this year. The special will see Ash Ketchum return to the Sinnoh region to help the mythical Pokémon Arceus. We can assume the special is inspired by this year’s Pokémon Legends: Arceus. The trailer features a ton of familiar faces including Dawn and Cynthia, but it’s Brock’s shirtless moment that’s got fans all in a flush.

In a brief scene in the trailer, Brock takes off his shirt and shouts, “Let’s do this,” and no one expected him to be quite so ripped. A pleasant surprise. Twitter user Raekwon92155274 wrote, “Brock with his shirt off!? I gotta watch,” whilst NelsonsWay added, “Oh Brock gonna be a thirst trap in the new Pokémon series?” Birdy_wren simply stated, “Shirtless Brock tho.” Indeed. Check out a few more reactions below.

Pokémon: The Arceus Chronicles is officially due to drop on Netflix on 23 September so there’s just a few weeks to go until you can enjoy Brock in all his shirtless glory. If you’re headed to the Pokémon Worlds, you’re in luck as The Arceus Chronicles will premiere there on 19 August.
