From right now until 27 May, you can grab some free goodies in Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket in celebration of Japan’s national Golden Week holiday.

As revealed on the official Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket Twitter account, players can head over to the Pokémon TCG Pocket website and pop in an official code that grants you some in-game goodies.
It's an incredibly moreish game.
From what I can tell, this isn’t actually something you can redeem through the Pokémon TCG Pocket app for… whatever reason.
Nope, instead, you gotta head over to the official site and input the code “S5N4NDM00N” (alongside your Support ID) to redeem them for your account. Seems a bit of an odd way around to do things but, sure.

So, what do you get for all your effort? 24 Pack Hourglasses and 500 Trade Tokens.
Obviously if you already play Pokémon TCG Pocket, you’re likely only going to be bothered about the Pack Hourglasses (as they let you open packs earlier). Either way, pretty neat reward for free.
Oh and in case you’re curious, Golden Week is a pretty big deal in Japan. It’s essentially a group of four separate national holidays, which grants everyone in Japan a solid week off to do whatever they want.
Considering the stuff I’ve heard about Japan’s tireless work culture, I am in no way surprised that they bloody love a solid week to do whatever they want.

Anyway, now that the history lesson is out of the way, make sure to nab this gift as soon as possible if you’re a Pokémon TCG Pocket player. Free Pack Hourglasses don’t come around often, so grab them before 27 May in case you get FOMO.
