PlayStation users can grab a ton of new free games right now

PlayStation users are in for an absolute treat this week and no, I’m not talking about the upcoming State of Play - but I’m excited for that too. PlayStation Plus’ extra and premium tier catalogues have just been updated with this month’s new titles and to say it’s a good haul would be an understatement.

I don’t want my essential tier friends to feel left out though. If you haven’t yet grabbed those titles, essential PS Plus subscribers can currently download OlliOlli World, Evil Dead: The Game, Mafia: Definitive Edition, and Destiny 2: Beyond Light. Fans are saying that Mafia is a must-play if you’re a Grand Theft Auto fan. The extra and premium tier line-up is even stronger though and features two of last year’s very best games: Horizon Forbidden West and The Quarry.

It’s the perfect time to catch up on Horizon Forbidden West as the Burning Shores DLC is set to release in April. Take a look at the trailer below.

In total, 17 games are being added across the extra and premium tiers this month. The full list is as follows: Horizon Forbidden West (PS4/PS5), The Quarry (PS4/PS5), Resident Evil 7 Biohazard (PS4), Outriders (PS4/PS5), Scarlet Nexus (PS4/PS5), Borderlands 3 (PS4/PS5), The Forgotten City (PS4/PS5), Tekken 7 (PS4), Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown (PS4), Earth Defense Force 5 (PS4), Oninaki (PS4), Lost Sphear (PS4), I Am Setsuna (PS4), The Legend of Dragoon - PS1 (PS4/PS5), Harvest Moon: Back To Nature - PS1 (PS4/PS5), Wild Arms 2 - PS1 (PS4/PS5), and Destroy All Humans! (2020) (PS4).

I’m known around these parts for being a Horizon Forbidden West stan so, of course, I’m going to demand that you check it out. It offers up 2022’s very best open world and fans agree that it doesn’t get the level of hype that it deserves.

Overall, subscribers are impressed with this month’s line-up. HiImRob2 wrote, “Holy s**t. Definitely going to check out the new Horizon game,” while FinalBed6476 added, “Holy crap. This is a banger month.” Daphamman wrote, “This is easily the best month of extra ever.” It’s definitely a strong offering. Happy playing.
