Hogwarts Legacy fans, prepare your wallets. A limited edition DualSense controller inspired by the game has just been revealed, and it’s pretty dang magical.

Revealed on Twitter by the official PlayStation account, this jet black controller is adorned with a golden illustration of Hogwarts Castle on the touchpad, and other decorative bits on the handles. It’s classy, while also very clearly Hogwarts Legacy-inspired, and I imagine it’s going to be very popular.

Take a look around Hogsmeade in Hogwarts Legacy below.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like fans will be able to preorder the PS5 controller in advance of its release (which is tomorrow, 10 February), so it’ll be available on a first come first served basis. We’ve also not been given the price for the controller - the limited edition God of War: Ragnarök-themed DualSense costs £64.99 ($74.99 in the U.S.), which isn’t that much more than a regular one - the White and Black options cost £59.99 ($69.99 in the U.S.). Fingers crossed that this controller will follow in its footsteps.

In a post on the PlayStation Blog, Avalanche Software art director Jeff Bunker said: “We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to work with the PlayStation team on the creation of this new DualSense controller for the upcoming game, Hogwarts Legacy. Our goal was to bring a hint of the in-game experience into the player’s hands… literally.

“Many themes were considered, from the representation of the different houses, magic wands, beasts or even the sorting hat,” he continued. “But it was clear very early that we should focus on the star of the game, Hogwarts itself. So we centred the iconic castle and incorporated swirling motifs of Ancient Magic into the design, highlighting the player’s special role within the story.”

For those of you in the UK, the controller will be available to buy from 10AM tomorrow - don’t miss out.
