The PlayStation Plus free games for December 2022 haven't been officially confirmed at the time of writing, but fans are already praising it as a "damn good month" to be subscribed.
To be fair, we can say with some certainty that the PS Plus games that leaked yesterday will be the games that are officially announced later today. That's because the leak came from billbil-kun (via the Dealabs forums), and this mystery leaker has never been wrong about the PS Plus free games.
According to the leak, we can expect Mass Effect Legendary Edition (PS4), as well as both the PS4 and PS5 versions of Biomutant and Divine Knockout. That's a pretty great lineup, and the overwhelming majority would appear to agree! A rare change of pace for the internet.

"Wow MELE and Biomutant! Damn good month to end the year," wrote one fan over on Reddit.
"Mass Effect Legendary Edition is pretty big.Had been wanting to buy this for a while," said another. "Biomutant also, but wasn't entirely certain about it. Definitely a good month for me."
Subscribers certainly seem particularly excited to check out Biomutant, a game that definitely has PS Plus written all over it. By which I mean it's an interesting enough looking game which got fairly average reviews that may have put some off of spending actual money on it.
"I wanted to try Biomutant," one subscriber wrote. "I’ll be looking forward to playing it."

Another agreed: "Same! I've just assumed it would be given away at some point to try to boost numbers a bit. Glad the wait paid off!"
Personally, I reckon we've had a pretty solid run on the PlayStation Plus Essential tier over the last few months. November was particularly notable for including the excellent Nioh 2, a game that far more people should play.
