PlayStation Plus announces a ton of new free games for March

It's been revealed which games are joining the extra and premium tier catalogues for March's latest PlayStation Plus drop.

Welcome back. It’s that time again - PlayStation Plus time. Seeing as it’s the middle of the month, it can only mean one thing. PlayStation have officially revealed which titles will be added to the extra and premium tier catalogues next.

Let’s recap the month’s PlayStation Plus offerings so far. March’s essential tier drops have been called disappointing by subscribers but if you’re interested, this month you can get your hands on Battlefield 2042, Minecraft Dungeons and Code Vein. It’s certainly not the strongest line-up we’ve seen. Zooming ahead to April, as of yesterday, we now know that day one release Meet Your Maker will be included in next month’s essential tier drop. As announced today though, extra and premium subscribers are set to get access to 17 new games in just a few days time.

One of those games is day one release Tchia. Take a look at the trailer below.

We already knew a couple of these games ahead of time thanks to February’s State of Play but now we have the full line-up. This month, extra and premium subscribers will gain access to Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, Ghostwire: Tokyo, Immortals Fenyx Rising, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction, Life is Strange: True Colors, Life is Strange 2, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, Street Fighter V Champion Edition, Untitled Goose Game, Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, Rage 2, Neo: The World Ends With You, Haven, and day one release Tchia, while premium subscribers will also get Ridge Racer Type 4 (PS1), Ape Escape 2 (PS1), and Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror (PSP).

Personally, I’m excited to try Legacy of Thieves Collection. Both Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and The Lost Legacy are excellent titles and I never got around to testing out these enhanced new-gen versions. Here at GAMINGbible, we also enjoyed last year’s Ghostwire: Tokyo. We wrote in our review, “Ghostwire: Tokyo is a gobsmackingly gorgeous action-horror with enemies that you won’t forget any time soon, not only for their eclectic appearances but their formidable ferocity in combat too.” Which title are you eager to try?

All titles will be available to download and play from 21 March.
