Easter. A symbol of resurrection and the start of spring. The days are getting longer, and the weather is getting warmer (unless you live in the southern hemisphere). Snowdrops burst from the dormant soil, the birds begin to sing in the mornings again, and bees will emerge from hibernation and pollinate the flowers. Lovely. What's even lovelier is that the PlayStation Spring Sale is live, giving you the ideal excuse to stay indoors when the beauty of nature is stirring.

It's only polite, after all. And, you wouldn't want to leave Sony in the cold when it's slashed the prices of over 700 games on the PlayStation Store. It's almost a little exorbitant, in my opinion. In fact, the sale will be split into two halves, like an Easter egg, to ensure players make the most of the opportunity. The first period spans from March 31st to April 14th, and the second period is from April 15th to April 28th. Different games are featured in the different periods, so be sure to read the small print when you're shopping.

As aforementioned, there is a massive number of games featured in this sale, so we've dredged the collection for you. Firstly, we simply must mention that Yakuza: Like a Dragon is 30% off, and that it gets you the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions in one. If you've always had your eye on the series but never been sure where to start, then James claims that this one is absolutely ideal for newcomers. "With world-class voice acting, and generation-defining visuals, it's a must-play game that easily earns its place on next-gen consoles," he said, and praised its "fascinating" characters and "first-rate" story.

Even in 2021, The Last Of Us Part 2 continues to cause ripples in the community, and it's snagged awards for its narrative, artistic direction, audio, soundtrack, the list goes on. As a first-party title, it's often hovering around the £60 mark, but in this sale, it's more than half-off. Either opt for the standard edition for £24 or the digital deluxe edition for £33. I'm sure you'll agree when I say that's a staggering deal. Ghost of Tsushima is £31, Hitman 3 is 25% off, and Assassin's Creed Valhalla is just under £40, if you're wanting to beef up your library with the best titles from the last twelve months.

The EA Family Bundle is also an amazing shout if you're wondering how to entertain the kids while the Easter Bunny hides their eggs in the house. For just £5, Need for Speed, Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 and Unravel are bundled up in an affordable parcel for you. On the other hand, perhaps you're more intrigued by the indie gems on the platform. Jotun: Valhalla Edition is less than £3, harrowing horror story Kholatis 75% off, and the critically acclaimed adventure Anodyne is the same price as a small coffee. Go forth, my friends, and spend.
