More and more it looks like Sony is prioritising a lot of quality of life improvements with the arrival of the PlayStation 5. We've already heard about guides being integrated into the PlayStation's UI for difficult parts of the games you're playing, but we're also now hearing that PlayStation will allow you to alter your setting for games from the UI.
Spotted by PSU, there is now going to be a setting in the UI of the console that will allow you to change presets for your games automatically. If you're the type to want to play games for the story and not so much for the challenge, you can make the console automatically set up your games on an easier setting so you don't have to do it every time you load up a new game.
There are other presets too, including opting for first-person and third-person views, the subtitle options, and the performance and resolution modes. More time to play the games you want with less hassle going through settings to do it.
The video showing off the feature very briefly is this PS5 Recommended Settings video from Sony about the ways you can adapt your console to your liking. Other personal changes include haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, and 3D audio. All of these aren't just essential settings to the regular player but also for accessibility so all Sony fans can enjoy the PS5 experience.
