Deadpool & Wolverine features the best action sequences since The Winter Soldier, apparently

Deadpool & Wolverine will supposedly have some of the best action scenes we’ve seen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe so far.

The last few Marvel Cinematic Universe projects, while good, have been unfortunately met with a muted response by a good chunk of the fanbase.

This superhero-fatigue has significantly damaged the hype for upcoming films, though Deadpool & Wolverine has emerged unfazed with a new trailer, leading fans to say it’s going to “save the MCU.”

Deadpool & Wolverine will be the merc with a mouth’s third film, though the first under Disney following its takeover of Fox.

It’ll bring back Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine back into the fray, as well as presumably pay homage to some of Fox’s other Marvel films, with it being anyone’s guess as to who will cameo.

The plot will apparently focus on Wade teaming up with the T.V.A, a time-agency organisation introduced during Loki that endeavours to prevent alternate timelines from being created.

Of course, being a Deadpool film, anything could happen during the story though the character’s co-creator Rob Liefield is thinking more about the film’s action scenes.

In a recent tweet talking about the film’s most recent trailer, Liefield said: “I’ve been telling everyone how great this movie looks and it’s the BEST action since Winter Soldier.”

Liefield went on to say, “The car fight! Forest fight! The ********** fight! It’ll be up there with the best comic book film of all time!”

While some fans remain sceptical of Deadpool's live-action iteration being under Disney’s control, let’s be real, Ryan Reynold’s version of the character plus Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine? It’s got to be a recipe for success.

Deadpool & Wolverine will be released in cinemas across the world on 26 July, and it could very well be the greatest film the Marvel Cinematic Universe has put out so far.
