A beloved Xbox exclusive has just made its way to PlayStation 4, although it took its sweet time getting here.
The original Xbox had some stone-cold bangers back in its day. Halo: Combat Evolved, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic, Fable... I could go on. The PlayStation 2 had its share of incredible games too, of course. But it was this generation, perhaps more than any other, that PlayStation fanboys would look over at what Xbox had going on and feel a pang of regret.
The outstanding Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath is one of those slick Xbox exclusives that PlayStation users had to miss out on back in the day. Released way back in 2005, Strangers Wrath is often regarded as one of the best Oddworld adventures, and with good reason. Its gorgeous world, charming characters, and gripping story more than make up for gameplay that is, by modern standards, just a little dated.

While Stranger's Wrath was later re-released in glorious HD on PlayStation 3 and Vita, it remained just out of reach for any PS4/PS5 owners hoping to give it a whirl. Until now.
While there was very little fanfare around its release, Stranger's Wrath HD launched on PlayStation 4 just a few days ago. While checking out a 17-year-old game in the middle of what is already one of the busiest months we've had for gaming in years might not seem like too high a priority, I can promise you that it's a delightful little adventure that's well worth checking out.
